Portcities seeks a dynamic and experienced Junior Consultant to join our consulting team. This role involves assisting in the analysis, design, implementation, and support of technology solutions that address clients' business needs. The Junior Consultant works closely with senior consultants and clients, contributing to the success of projects through technical and functional expertise.
Job Description
Analyze client business processes and requirements to design business solutions with detailed requirements. Produce a Functional Specification, and UAT plan, and prepare test cases, flowcharts, and diagrams.
Accompany customers in the full delivery cycle from software configuration to go live.
Internal testing on configuration/development should be conducted before releasing them for UAT.
Create a user manual and provide training and support to end-users as per the agreement defined.
Troubleshoot and resolve Odoo-related issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration.
Stay updated on Odoo developments and suggest improvements.
Support the sales team during pre-sales by creating and presenting a demo.
Prepare presentation slides in English or other specific language if required.
Prepare MoM in English or other specific language if required
Requirements
Bachelor degree from Information System / Computer Science / Business / Accounting / Management. Master degree from business management is an advantage.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in solution-based sales, business development, or pre-sales, with a focus on ERP system implementation or software development/implementation.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and manage relationships with internal teams, cross-functional colleagues, and external partners.
Work Authorization Requirement: Candidates must have valid work authorization in Malaysia to be considered for this position.
- Language Skills: Intermediate communication, presentation and writing skills in English.

We are currently looking for a ERP Junior Consultant to lead and grow our Malaysian operations.
This is an entry-level consulting role focused on supporting the successful implementation and delivery of ERP solutions for clients. The ERP Junior Consultant will assist with understanding business requirements, configuring ERP systems, testing solutions, preparing documentation, and providing ongoing support, while ensuring all project activities are delivered in alignment with Portcities’ global methodology, standards, and values.
